A mother dying from aids
Theresia was fully aware of the fact that she would soon die from aids - as were her children. Often I saw her sitting in her dark wet room crying and her children Donna and Werner here would sit and wipe the tears off her chin. Since there was only this bed to sleep in for her and her 5 children, I could not spend the nights with her, but it cheered her up that I would instead stay with her 19 year old daughter, Agnes.
